Yeah. Just to say , going through similar myself. It does feel unending but it does get easier. You won't believe this at this moment and will feel that it's easy for anyone to say this as they don't know that overwhelming heavy bleakness where it's an effort to just get out of bed. I truly do. I have had some horrendous dark times. Many years ago i was on prosac after my life went south. It doesn't cure anything but after about 3 weeks i just found i didnt care so much. It just gave my brain chance to breathe. Took them for 6 months. Forget to take them to a festival and never took them again. I wouldnt recommend stopping like that though. My relationship status and living arrangements have also recently changed massively in a way that i wasnt expecting and not for the best. This time though it feels ok. One day at a time is enough and also realising life is a series of small moments. Some of these moments aren't as you expected but others will be glorious. It sounds counter intuitive but i found a lot of strength in Afterlife. Its actually quite moralistic in a modern way. If you truly don't care- can really let go then nothing will bother you. And being kind to others does bring joy to your life as a brilliant side affect. Sounding like a cliche cos it is - life is what you get . Living is what you give

But when you said the Who were touring and i called you out on it wanting to know where you heard that. You answered it was a joke. A joke has a point most people get. You are posting on a forum people use to mostly get information about music. Just because you dont enjoy certain types of music and dismiss them as 'jokes' doesn't mean other people can't get enjoyment from the acts in question so that is what got my back up tbh.

Berghaus havent let me down and theyre surprisingly light for a full boot. Had scarpa flo before. A brilliant boot - but felt heavy after 5 days of mud had settled on them (2016) .Not helped by being full leather. Definitely if its just festivals go for comfort and dont spend hundreds. You dont need to. Go outdoors and places like that should have a little bridge you can walk over to try the fitting out in different ways. Sounds daft but it does make a difference.

And a 6 man tents for 6cpeople even with an extension is probably less ground space than 3 x4 man tents for the same 6 which a lot of people would use so dont stress that side of it.

You are allowed to be disappointed. As ive said in the eotr thread i much prefer that zt first reading. Theres not much that is grabbing me in the way 2018 did. Some of it is i feel i cant be arsed any more since the enforced break of c*vid. It made me question the 'do i enjoy the 75quid a night out minimum for gigs im not convinced by (i drink so its always a taxi or at best kip on a mates sofa and feel like death the next day). So i was hoping for more of a 'YES. Must see that ' but im at 'meh. Might be ok' . But you know, itll be summer, ticket cost will be absorbed into life by then and cos im doing settlers im looking at it as a weeks break with some entertainment involved. And never worry about what people think of your musical choices. Good mates humour your 17 minute electric violin workout, people you dont know- why care? You wouldnt expect them to care if you didnt agree with what they like Itll be a fab weekend 😀

I genuinely have heard of 4 of those. Last time i went was War on Drugs, king Gizzard, Fleet foxes, Kevin Morby etc. Has it got more niche or am i just too old for it now? Like radio 2 will play fjm and fleet foxes. But everything on that list not so much.

Where have you seen this? They are doing 1 date at new orleans jazz fest in april. Roger daltrey is doing his solo stuff june and july.
