linking up with strangers to increase chance of getting a ticket, how does this work

I think you don't have to share card details, only lead booker is paying. But you have to hope that other people will pay you back :)

 

you'd need to give card details to the person who did the transaction for you - and unless you know them personally, you can't have a clue what they might then use your card details for.

 

Most people are honest, but some aren't.

Lead booker pays the deposit for all number on page (so has to have £300 available on debit card) - then once you have confirmation email you can pay him the £50 deposit for your share or if you know/trust them you can pay £50 up front but then if you fail you have to trust you'll get your £50 back.

 

I find people are more likely to pay £50 to you if you've got their tickets.....

 

The only time we're done anything different was when our friend in Russia got our tickets and we needed a UK debit card - cue major panic and WhatsApp messages.
