Posted 22 June 2011 - 06:46 AMwho makes these things?
by the way if sonisphere served up anything close to that I'll be all over it
Posted 22 June 2011 - 12:55 PMthe soni poster is wrong. You have too many bands friday for a start. Remove the second stage and you'll be a little closer.
Posted 23 June 2011 - 01:26 PMMachine Head second stage?
Avenged Sevenfold in a tent?
Posted 23 June 2011 - 09:46 PMsevere lack of the best new band on the planet ,taking dawn !
Posted 11 July 2011 - 06:17 PMWon't get TVC anywhere next year. Homme will be touring with Queens.
Posted 12 July 2011 - 05:38 PMgoing on what soni organisers and coppo said on the metal hammer podcast earlier this year - I'm willing to put money on soundgarden already being signed for soni.

Me too bud, with RHCP playing to, as no other fest after their last performances will probably want or chance them. Metal fest maybe but if Biffy Clyro can headline it then so can RHCP
Posted 13 July 2011 - 04:40 AMI dont think RHCP are the draw they were 10 years ago. they pissed on their chips with their last headline sets at reading and leeds - utter w*nk.
Posted 13 July 2011 - 08:23 AMI don't belive a word of what Soni are saying about the 3 bands they've lined up, just spin as next year tixs go on sale and I can't see them not having at least one metal headliner.
Posted 13 July 2011 - 09:22 PMMy Thoughts
Linkin Park have a slim chance of taking the slot over Kasabian and being the shared TITP headliner
What most think really.
The Strokes/Coldplay/The Killers
T In The Park
The Killers/Snow Patrol/Linkin Park
Posted 24 July 2011 - 06:25 PMSo according to a guy on Soni forums, they have Eminem next year
Posted 24 July 2011 - 08:17 PMI saw that! Don't believe it for one second. Now I've heard Eminem, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rush and Soundgarden are headlining next year. The 'metal' crowd would be outraged!

Haha I know man, I thought would be interesting and funny to debate though. I have questioned it with a reliable Soni source I think who says no lol.
RHCP yes, Soundgarden yes, Rush is debatable I think. Soni 3rd I think depends on wether or not they get Van Halen.
People are saying QOTSA couldn't headline but could they do the Soni shorter Friday?
Posted 25 July 2011 - 03:55 PMYea surely if Biffy can headline then QOTSA can. I am a fan of both but the fact sonisphere took the chance on Biffy this year they could take the chance on QOTSA next year
