Didn't stay up watching it but just watched it all now, Cage match was decent, but I just don't care about Bryan as champ, needs to lose it at EC.

Womens match, whatever... although I like what they're doing with Beth and Bella's looked awesome as usual. Kellys dive was pretty cool, she's really trying but I doubt she'll ever get over like Trish did. Despite WWE badly trying to make her the new Trish.

Kane v Cena was a typical match you would expect from these guys, Tombstone was vicious on Ryder, guessing Cena v Kane will take place again at EC. At the end when Kane was walking out wanted him to start taking out the refs and medics too.

CM Punk v Ziggler was 5 star, absolutely brilliant match, Im so into this fued, Ziggler is class.

Rumble match.

Lacked star power

Order of enterances seemed off

Foley was shockingly bad

liked that Cody was elimanating all the legends

Didn't like how Miz and Cody lasted all through just to patheticaly get chucked out by Big Show together, was poor.

Thought Barrett should have done more in the match

Highlight was Kofi, especially his handstand

Liked Jericho's aggression when he first came in then did nothing.

Weird choice of winner, but agree the 'match' between the two at the end was very, very good.

Wanted Ziggler to win myself.

Overall 3.5/5.

only bit that got on my nerves from it was Miz getting saved countless times by Cody at the nick of time, even if he was preoccupied he still managed to get a single punch in to save him... looked as though he kept forgetting then realising at the last second...

I liked the Rumble show as a whole, I like the silly bit about wrestling so I loved Foley, Santino, Hacksaw, the announcers, Kharma, and especially Ricardo. Apparantly in FCW they do/did an angle where Del Rio really works for Ricardo, I'd love if they eventually did something like that.

Tbh it lacked star power because the WWE is lacking in star power at the moment - no undertaker, HHH, Michaels, Rey, Del Rio etc. Cena, Punk Kane & Henry doing something else, and they haven't yet built up people like Barrett, Sheamus, Ziggler, Swagger to be proper main eventers IMO.

Enjoyed Raw too, looks like they're going with Punk/Jericho and Sheamus/possibly-but-probably-not-Bryan at WM.

Spoiler if you haven't seen the end of Raw, because its worth watching;

Other than the initial 'woo!' for Undertaker reappearing, I couldn't care less. I do not need or want to see Undertaker beat HHH again in another slow plodding match, and I especially do not need or want to see 2 months of boring, slow, 'only action is making signs, patting shoulders and pointing at WM sign' buildup. I'll give them a chance to get it right, but I won't hold my hopes high.

    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
