Yup... was 'to'ing and 'fro'ing, but caved in and will be watchin it live. Actually going to pay for it too.

Predictions:

Taker, Cena, Edge, Hart, Punk, Orton, McIntyre (MitB), Sheamus, Truth & Morrison, and the babyface girls.

Well, for a feud that had an atrotious build, that triple threat was pretty bloody good. Simple booking, but a lot of fun. Orton ungodly over as a face, despite his shitty turn.

I pray to god Huntor does the right thing here.

Agree... That was only slightly better than the jerricho vs micky rourke thing last year. Totally over booked, pointless double crosses and too many boring chair shots.

Crowd totally gave up on it, and now the guys in the next match are going to have a job to win them back.

shit ppv, taker v hbk match saved it somewhat, although i might be biased as without those two individuals, i probably wouldnt still be watching wrestling today.

Sad to see HBK over, butthe match had Taker all over it.

I quite enjoyed it.

The MITB winner was a pleasant surprise, Edge and Jericho picked it up after the abismal Hart/Mcmahon fight (which, in fairness is what it was billed as). There was a missed oppertunity by not forcing Mysterio into the SES, same goes for HHH getting the victory over Sheamus - would like to see a continuation of the Punk/Rey feud and would be interesting to see HHH taking Sheamus on as some sort of protege/replacement tag partner for HBK.

I need to re-watch it tonight, I fell asleep during the Cena-Batista match and woke up as HBK moonsaulted through the table.

^ Agreed.... it was a fun show by the end of it. Glad I stayed up to watch it.

Started off great, then took a severe dip in the middle, but came good in the end. I actually really enjoyed the 3 way because of the cheers for Orton, and the Rey vs Punk match was good for the short amount of time they got. MitB was great (not the best ever, but still good). Can't forgive Huntor for not putting Sheamus over given the angle going in, but the match was good. Jerricho and Edge didn't really work for me, the end just totally killed it for me. Batista and Cena had a great match, about as good as those two could ever do. And then the final match...

...oh the final match. It was never going to beat last years, but it came damm close. Taker selling his knee (which may or may not have been a real injury) totally drew me into the match, but I didn't like the fact that they (Shawn in particular) were trying to kill themselves. I screamed when Taker shaped up for the superman dive after what happened last year, and I had to physically turn away during HBKs moonsault. But it all came good in the end, and the finish was just fantastic - Taker basically just giving up, Shawn doing his throat slicing taunt and slapping Taker, and then getting a jumping tombstone for the pin. Just fantastic.

Not a perfect show by any means... the edge finish was stupid, bret vs vince was aweful, Huntor is a bad man, certain things were over booked - but the good far outweighed the bad so thumbs up.

I quite enjoyed last nights show. Michaels vs. Undertaker was epic. Not quite as good as last year but still incredible. Actually thought Michaels was going to win on a few occasions.

Hart vs. McMahon was awful. Felt like it went on for ages. I was hoping for a Jim Neidhart appearance but it wasn't to be. Went for a cigarette during the womens match but I assume it was terrible. Money in the Bank had far to many people in and lacked a really memorable spot (although Kofi using the ladder as stilts was awesome)

Everything else was pretty good, Jericho vs. Edge will probably be better at Extreme Rules (assuming they have a rematch), Batista vs. Cena was better than I expected (not as good as SummerSlam 08 though) and Rey vs. Punk was about as good as a 6 minute match can be. Not a bad WrestleMania but could have done with cutting out some of the crap as usual

Thought it was a good show. McMahon and Bret was far too overbooked though. If they were going to use the Hart Dynasty they should of had them show up a month before siding with Vince or have they attack Bret instead of Batista doing it.

Thought Sheamus and The Game worked a good match.

I'm happy Jericho won as I had a bet on with my mate.

Main event was amazing.

Overall a good Wrestlemania but not a classic.

Haven't watched Mania, Im gunna watch it at some point though, even though I know the results, it sounded like a very average show though

In other news TNA have released The Nasty Boys, apparently they opnly had a 90 day contract and it wasn't renewed.

But they have signed Brooke Adams who used to be in WWE [she was part of that 3 diva group on ECW] im very happy about this, she's damn hot! She's Bischoff's assistant :P

    • It was always going to be the cost. stuff like this:
    • Man/Woman/Chainsaw anyone? Still 4-5 secret sets to be filled.   New album out today and Rough Trade friendly.
    • can't edit, but just to add to the above:   i get that the last bit is meant to reinforce the message that they are all horrible people and closing ranks to cover up what has happened and carry on with their lives while poor Celeste is left alone with her trauma...   i get it thematically, i just really hated the way it was on screen and i say that my ending would have made for a better movie.   🙂
    • Sadly, the ticket map below screams rear 5 blocks not on sale or never have been on sale. Especially when you look at the blue blocks with rows of unsold tickets.   And I say all of this as a big fan of Muse.
    • Personally, I don't think there will be any changes to the queuing system in place for the 2025 sale.  GFL will be aware that true bots are a risk, but they may also see large collectives of organised folks running multiple devices, containers or profiles to get an advantage as bots themselves, and then struggle to know where to draw the line without penalising folks who are simply more on the ball than others.   They will also be acutely aware that engineering tech to close those gaps will cost, and therefore eat into the money they are able to pass to the Charities, without passing those costs on to punters in the ticket price, which they will be cautious of doing especially after a 2 year break and the inevitable media coverage that will get.   This may all be naive and overly trusting of me though.....
