I'd never really been a big fan of supergrass, but seen them at arctic monkeyfest in manchester last year and thought they done a really good set so wouldn't mind them heading up bella. I'm trying to think who i'd really like to see though, and after last year at rockness would love to see the manics headlining bella, but that's maybe a bit far fetched! also think sigur ros on the main stage would be awesome. Thought the dangleberries with the bagpipes and guitars and doing queen covers was class last year so would like to see them back, or think one of the big 'tribute' bands like the bootleg beatles, bjorn again or the queen one would go down well on the main stage in a sunny afternoon drunken singalong slot.

Saying all that, i genuinely am not really that bothered about the line-up, obviously it is great if you get bands you like and are hoping for etc, but anyone who has been before knows that it impossible to not have a good time at this festival!!

i see Summer Sundae has it's first line-up announcement tomorrow- will be interesting to see what's on it as Tartan heart seems to share some acts with it over the weekend.

Here's my (perhaps slightly absurd) picks/hopes/whatever

.Madness would be brilliant. Not beyond possibility.

.Bit of a notion but Kevin Rowland/Dexys? Would be very Bella.

.I think electronic music is under-represented at Bella. Hot Chip? The Orb? Air?

.Frank Turner. Surely not too much to ask.

.Morrissey? Again, not the most ridiculous thing ever suggested. Would be a dream come true. He has a new album in the works and a greatest hits to promote and doesn't seem to be doing any of the majors this year. Bella would be a very subversive Morrissey-esque thing to do.

But now they have been announced for Summer Sundae I reckon they are a certainty for Tartan Heart

Announced were -

Lightspeed Champion

Of Montreal

I reckon we will see quite a few of them at Bella, which looks good to me ^_^

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
    • Out of interest keep seeing messages saying last 12 hours etc… to buy you full weekend tickets.  Whats that about? Do they take them off sale early?
