Truck 2027

Recommended Posts

So 2026 is in the bag. Hoping for at least one headliner I really want to see next year.

Any early contenders?

Thursday - Lottery Winners

Friday - Reytons
Saturday - Wolf Alice

Sunday - Fat Boy Slim

Is it too much to want Biffy or The Prodigy?!

Looking at other Super Struct Festivals this year will give you an idea.

FBS & WA both at Tramlines this year.  Wold Alice were beyond amazing !

Sadly Truck don't seem to go for dance headliners these days - Basement Jaxx in 2015 was the last one I can think of unless you count 'The Streets' as dance music!

I may miss 2027 as other half thinking about Latitide as she hopes the headliners may be more her thing and we have never done Latitude. However, could still be at Truck as I often love the Nest & Market lineups and the ticket price is great value.

My guess is

Thursday - Manic Street Preachers (Just think they may play next year)

Friday - Bastille

Saturday - Wolf Alice

Sunday - Reytons

Would love to see Blossoms get a headline slot. I did not do the Thursday a few years back when they done the Thursday and feel they deserve a decent slot at Trucke. However, they seem to sell themselves short by taking slots anywhere they can.

Oh my lord, what was I saying. That’s my bad I forgot they split up. Any one else got any suggestions . I’m hoping for a more out there lineup as the past 2 years have been very safe lineups, good but I want something differen

It will be 20 years since myths of the near future, maybe they'll do some reunion shows

Bought my ticket today, looking forward to next year!

I’m hoping/ can us getting:

Wunderhorse (Thursday headline)

Wolf Alice

Foals

Stereophonics

Gives a bit of everything imo, we could always get a wild card like a Declan McKenna but it depends who’s touring I guess

I could see bands like Inhaler, Fat Dog, The Academic and Yard Act being on the bill too.

What’s people thinking?

A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):

Reytons

The Streets

Blossoms

Sophie-Ellis Bextor

Rick Astley

Scissor Sisters

Dizzee Rascal

Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring):

Yard Act

Sports Team

Sea Girls

Pale Waves

Fat Dog

Peace

Swim Deep

Courting

Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year

Just thrown some names at the wall, headliners are optimistic (for me) as I think we'll probably get 1/2 of Reytons, Courteeners and The Streets

Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.

Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.

    • I think it's a conscious decision this year not to publicize it beforehand. Not sure why. Maybe they have even removed the concept of a passport altogether and have something else... I like it because it helps me find parts of the program that don't function as slots in the timetable.
    • Still see Beach House with a new Album    and Tame Impala and The Strokes.
    • Yeah the rumour I heard is Glastonbury + Spurs stadium, the guy who posted it seems to be on the ball most of the time as well.   He's also now put one up for Sam fender summer shows
