Robyn as well but on the other hand they already have 2 Swedish pop stars on the line up (Zara Larsson and Veronica Maggio).

Feels like with the money they have already spent on the line up, Robyn is now a luxury for this year and will instead be an obvious early announcement for next year instead.

Exactly, with three dates in Stockholm in June, imho it is very unlikely she plays WOW two months after. However, I feel like her headlining WOW/Oya/Flow next year is almost a lock at this point.

"Only a limited number of 3-day tickets remain and are expected to sell out shortly." Is that before the full sell out? Or just before the next spike in ticket prices? Last year it sold out in May and that was apparently already a new reord.

I was just about to post about this too. Has lit a bit of fire under me anyway. Currently trying to get my crew together to buy now just in case.

Checked the Rock am Ring lineup out of curiosity, but if you believe that's the strongest line up of the year, I can understand why Way Out West might not be for you.

Love this year's WOW line up so far, but hope the next additions are a bit less poppy.

I like some WOW options in The Cure, Lorde, Moby, Underworld, Amyl and TOP I'd watch so what I like there are decent names but I think RAR came straight out the park, banged it out and bigger names for name have got the best there is around all on one lineup and an incredibly quick sell out. I've got stacked days all 3 days with some annoying but I feel easy enough to make clashes, I don't think I have a break lol.

But that is why I said WOW was decent for the type of lineuo it is, I dont think it's really a confusing thing though as your reaction alludes to, disagreeing with it based on your tastes absolutely.

For the record as well, after 2023 RAR went I didnt expect to ever really get there and it's the last lineup I expected to pull this out.

I think The Offspring, Maiden, Sabaton

Papa Roach, LP, LB and while it's the weaker end of the 3 days, Volbeat who I'm more than happy to see and Palaye Royale doesn't get much stronger overall as a top 3 for a rock festival.

I think as top 3 or 4s the others that come close are Halsey, Pixies, KOL and TOP and The Cure, Moby, APC and Rise Against.

So far Underworld, Amyl and (I assume TOP is) 21 Pilots have not been announced for Way Out West.

Glad you like the RAR line up, for me it's one of the least interesting line ups of the summer. I do recommend Blood Incantation, looking forward to seeing them at Best Kept Secret (quite a surprising booking for a non-metal festival)

I thought they were based on the poster unless the one I've seen is a wishlist?

Underworld, TOP and Amyl not being there changes it a bit, The Cure is still the standouts act, to be honest it's in my top 3 standouts of the year.

I don't actually like Blood Incantation but with a rock lineup it's different from the general broad lineups so its a like it or dislike it. The only thing I think they failed to do it what Download have is booking some of the better smaller undercards acts but they've gone for new blood instead which is actually what people wish Download did more so. Speaking of Download, that's one of the least interesting options for me, higher up at least. GNR and LB headlining especially the former in 2025 is desperate as it gets.

Kendal Calling however is interesting to me and I don't actually really like Wolf Alice.

There's big waiting lists on the resale sites already so I think it could be tough. We're considering VIP. The queue skips will come in handy and MrsSwedge is pretty short so would benefit from access to the viewing platforms for the main stages.
