Any chance of getting Skrillex again this year? The shows that he made some days ago in South America were absolutely fantastic

I can't see it happenning. They are due to announce the Saturday headliner. Skrillez played two years ago as sub to Fred Again...What has he done since to warrant the step up to headliner?

I can see something like Skrillex+Dave/Skepta coheadline and in that case it would make sense for Skrillex to close the stage

Honestly, that would be fire IMO.

I realise I'm looking into this far too much. But what if the graphic is teasing different acts?

3:55 - hint for one act

Press play - another act hint (but can't be Moby)

Grime incoming - third act?

EDIT: Could grime refer to Jorja Smith? Realise she's not actually grime, but she's at Grape the weekend of Sziget and she certainly moves in those circles and collaborates with grime artists.

I WISH. She’s been on on my wishlist for at least 4 years.

My friend is an ambassador for this years sziget and he has a 20% discount code: MarkoNirs

(It's limited to 50 uses tho)

I hope this will help someone save at least a little bit on their ticket 😅🤞🏼

Hey, awesome share!

Since each code is limited to 50 uses, here's mine too: SaraPait (20% off Full Pass, incl. VIP & U21) – might help latecomers!

Quick steps:
1. szigetfestival.com/tickets
2. Add to cart
3. Enter code at checkout

Have an epic Sziget! 🎟️🔥

I'm really curious about the size of this stage as some of the announced names are really big in Hungary

As someone who hasn’t discovered any Hungarian artists yet who would you recommend I listen to from the announced acts? 🙂

Depends on what you like (who would’ve thought).

For alternative:My favourite addition is Kispal es a Borz, they had their farewell gig at Sziget in 2010 and are active again. Pal utcai fiuk is also good along with Peterfy Bori.

For hip hop/rap thingy:Beton.Hofi and Pogany indulo are pretty hot now and Majka might be one of the biggest acts in Hungary.

Bëlga as some kind of legacy hiphop.

For indie Esti Kornel and Ivan & the Parazol

For world music Bohemian Betyars xx Parno Grast.

Tankcsapda is a legacy rock act, they were frequent headliners like 20+ years ago.

i could like list all of them.

Skepta feels quite likely since he's the Grime name with most credibility beyond the UK apart from Stormzy. Can't see him headlining as he's billed at special guest not head at Reading and Leeds... but then again so is Sombr.

@ Leaks we rly miss u 🥲

This is great, thanks so much!!! To be honest I like a bit of everything (cliche), so I’ll look forward to listening to them!

So, apart from a bit of grime, what else do we all think we are getting today?

Saturday headliner?

Delta District names?

They don't seem to be pushing it on socials - one post so far. No guessing games on names etc. Makes me nervous that it's no going to be all that exciting.

I get what you're saying. It's not being hyped up at all.

But I guess we are at the stage where the vast majority of thr bigger names have already been announced.

If they hype it and it's two or three known names and thirty three relatively unknown then they're just building themselves up to be knocked down.

So Sad Simon’s delusional wishes pulled me right back in, so I will be disappointed with anything without Wet Leg, Hives and Turnstile. Only The Cure could save the day.

Realistically it’s going to be an EDM heavy announcement with the Saturday headliner(s).

Even one of those acts would make it a worthwhile announcement for me.

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
