Based on nothing, but…

Thursday: The Kooks (Anniversary) or Dizzee

Friday: Wolf Alice or TDCC

Saturday: Pet Shop Boys or Faithless

Sunday: Snow Patrol

Sounds good although Dizzee actually headlined a couple decades ago so dont think it can be him

If Wolf Alice headline then you're in for an absolute treat. I saw them at Manchester Arena the other week and I can't overstate just how great it was. They've taken huge strides in terms of their show, and the new album is absolutely brilliant live, I've been obsessed with it in the 2 weeks since. You'd imagine with them doing Tramlines that it puts them firmly in the frame for Kendal. The setting would suit them perfectly I think

Some close friends went to this show also and echoed similar sentiments, so I would be glad to see them there.

Similarly, I saw Ashcroft at the Co-Op Live in November and thought he was fantastic. Admittedly its all the Verve songs that are great and not the solo stuff but would still be excited to see him again here.

Final guesses?

I'll go for

Thursday: TDCC (Toursit History in full)

Friday: The Reytons

Saturday: Richard Ashcroft Or Wolf Alice

Sunday: Biffy Clyro

Scissor Sisters are a given now (which is fantastic, saw them at Hardwick this year and what a show), CMAT, The Maccabees (no North West show, might check out, they may even headline), Wet Leg, Shed Seven, The Lottery Winners, Faithless, Keo, The Vaccines, Freddie Halkon, The Fratellis, Vanessa Carlton, Friendly Fires, Getdown Services and The Libertines as special guest

(The above is a mix of reasonable guesses/wishlist based on other Superstruct festival announcements)

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
