I love a bit of Indie landfill as much as anyone but if that’s your main bag, perhaps you need to be looking at the Superstruct (Victorious, Tramlines etc.) instead. 

 

Same as me, although we've been every year since the second one (purely as it's just down the road).  This year's line up is at least a bit more like Latitudes of yore - I'll be enjoying more than usual vs. the last 5 or so years, where it's been veering towards an 80s-fest.

Im definitely more in the camp of feeling this edition feels a lot more old school Latitude than before but equally agree theres not many big name acts/dance acts that make the lineup fully stand out. Saying that this is probably my favourite range of acts we've had since 2023

This actually seems the case across a lot of Festival Republic events this year, especially Reading and Leeds - I guess a lot of places understand money is tight nowadays so people may prefer to do days instead. I wonder if next year they start doing 2 day tickets options as well

I understand your point about being more like the Latitude of old in terms on lineup but the demographic has certainly changed since then. We've been going for the past 7 years and due to the size of our group, we mostly float between the two main stages. The point I'm trying to make, is that the best atmosphere since I've been going was with the artists I mentioned. When they built up the 20th Anniversary celebrations is being a big party, Teddy Swims and Lewis Capaldi doesn't hit the spot (for us anyway). Hope you have a great time

I agree, that bigger dance name does seem to be missing - usually there’s a late night announcement though with bigger names (it’s just the Disco Shed atm) so would wait for that. 
 

For me the Saturday still looks quite flat on the main stage, mainly because I don’t know who Teddy Swims is.

 

The weirdest thing for me is trying to work out what all the ‘most impactful person of the past 20 years’ posts are about. Doesn’t seem like they’re inviting any of those people, and it’s getting no engagement, so why keep flogging it?

I thought this the other day, they do love some pretentious nonsense though 

 

They keep pushing the usual 'final tickets' spiel so I'm gonna be really interested to see how busy it is in the end 

 

Im currently working through my playlist to work out my must sees, dependents and not as fussed acts but its shaping up to be a good but busy weekend for me
