I don’t even want to consider this a possibility but Aitch and AJ Tracey have a song called rain ..

AJ Tracey is at Reading and Leeds.

It would seem stupid to hint at a rap act though, when all the build up to the announcement has been the call from punters for more guitar bands.

To be fair they have already said tomorrows announcement will include Indie, Rock, Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul and Pop so it could be but I do doubt it

Could be Goo Goo Dolls?

Not sure if they are active, but I think they played Sziget several years ago.

And would be definitely good connection with "rain". So as everything else.. 🙂

Nahh sadly not there already book in America on the same dates as Sziget

I feel like the 'rain' clue is most likely to be AJ Tracey. He'd fit well under A$AP if they want to create a main stage rap day, or under Anyma too.

Personally, I hate genre-specific days as it pushes six-day ticket holders away from the festival if they're not into that specific genre.

This takes place three weeks before Sziget so would be surprised if there's much of an overlap. Not impossible though.

“Rainy, but even better this week! Are you ready for tomorrow’s announcement? 🤭 By the way, have you ever seen Sziget in the rain? 🌧️ 🎶

the song was published on CCRs album Pendulum. They would also fit for the position at frequency and datewise, as far as i can see.

London grammar - Covering purple rain by price for people who don’t wanna click

I do think London grammar is possible though

They are touring on those dates, not Budapest show. I don't think the clue is related with them, more like a wish, but could be there.

Sadly I think based on comments left by Sziget i think they arent on the lineup. Saw them last summer and wasnt too impressed but I would give them another chance if they were here.

    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.
