Why, WHY???

Why would you spend 200 euros in food is you are already living in hungary and going to the festival from your own home? I've been living in the island for 8 days and never spent 100 euros, c'mon. You have Aldi, Auchan, Lidl, and food isn't SO expensive inside.

Roskilde always sells out, no matter who plays there.

Fred is starting to headline some festivals this summer, probably due to the absence of headliners and because he is growing a lot. Totally deserved. But they are mainstream festivals. On the other hand, Garrix only goes to electronic music festivals, he is not the typical artist who performs at Mad Cool, Primavera, Pukkelpop or Roskilde, places where Fred can play. (with the exception of Sziget, which has an EDM headliner every year). If Fred Again were to perform at tomorrowland, where Garrix has been a headliner year after year, Fred wouldn't go above him.

Man I love Fred, but Garrix is Top 3 biggest djs in the world for the last decade, headlining year after year the biggest electronic music festivals in the world. Fred is not that big yet, and he is new on the business.

Of course it is. If Dua Lipa comes, she would have acted in 3 of the last 5 Sziget. You complain that Macklemore performs a lot at the festival, but the reality is that you don't like him. People ask for bands in this thread like The Strokes, The Killers and things like that, when their peak was 20 years ago. You use arguments to justify that you like some bands and not others.

So, people complaning about Macklemore going to Sziget (he did 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2023) but Dua Lipa (2018, 2022, "imagine 2024") is ok?

It's not exactly a question of money with Glastonbury. In fact, Glastonbury pays its artists considerably less than other festivals. Simply playing there is something special, and that's why they can get artists who would never do festivals to perform there.
