Ziggo is close to sold out so that went fast. Pinkpop is ruled out looking at the other dates... Perhaps a second night in Amsterdam will follow??

They have announced a second date in Vienna so the popularity for them to do this is there if they so wish.

 

Unless they think doing both Werchter and Luxembourg is enough for this region of the world.

Possible. It just seems that Amsterdam dates specifically will usually, "usually", rules out a Pinkpop appearance. Always exceptions to the rule. I'm just generalising based on recent years.

Reading Roskilde is announcing later this week. Could it be they share a headliner with Pinkpop and probably Rock Werchter and some big act is announcing a tour later this week?

When was Pinkpop announcement last year? Wasn't until December (4th?) was it?

That was really late. I believe other years they always announce in oktober november... If they share a headliner with Rock Werchter sometimes on the same day....

Deftones and Weezer are in and around Europe in late June. Playing London a week after Pinkpop!!!!

They tend to vary. But, I suspect a few festivals will have announcements coinciding with Linkin Park news ...

Well, they aren't rumoured to be playing BKS no? In fact they are doing both Primavera's over the BKS weekend.

Nope. Only Porto is the same weekend as BKS. Definitely possible that Fontaines are playing BKS.

Ah yeah - I think the only "doable" date for Fontaines would be the Sunday 22nd. They have Italy dates up to 19th. Then, they play Budapest 21st June. Hours flight into Cologne on the evening, or 10-12 hour overnight for a late slot on the Sunday... given they have Croatia festivals on the 23rd, the logistics don't stack up and I suspect Pinkpop is a no-no! 😞
