BMTH weren't headliner back then and Foos canceled so I wouldn't count that as a repeat, and Volbeat are pretty big in Austria, with them having a new record out I think there a given. And look at it from the perspective that they are comfortable booking Slipknot and BMTH again after just one year, so 4 years since they played the last time is almost a longtime....

Offspring could very well be the 4th, but in that case the other two need to be big, I could see Sleep Token as 4th head as well.

LP for download should be given I think.

Sorry yes BMTH headlined in 2024.

Oh yes Foos cancelled, then that's even more so reason. BMTH, Foos, Volbeat with The Offspring being the smaller headliner. I just don't think you announce then now if they aren't. They could be doing double duty with someone I guess.

Last year the announced, Slipknot, ECB, Wanda and Lorna Shore during the fest. Two of them turned out to be headliner although I think that ECB got bumped up to headliner status, so it could go either way. But since Offspring has the same front size as BMTH it certainly is an argument for them being a headliner

Yeah I don't know what the font sizes were last year. If it's not The Offspring then it's going to be a big one as it wouldn't make any sense for The Offspring to take a lesser slot and just bump up one three years later in arguably their most peak selling period for years while another acts similar sized takes the slot.

The only other guess I'd have is Blink instead of The Offspring. Blink, BMTH, Volbeat and Foos is a pretty solid top 4. Blink not played since 2017, obviously there is nothing concrete putting them in Europe yet. If it was the first 4 I think Download have BMTH again, if it was the latter 4 then I think they've got Blink, especially if 4 days.

At the festival, they announced BMTH as a first headliner.

But The Offspring could be co-headliner with Sabaton, Disturbed or something similar

Last year Slipknot had a much bigger font than the rest, maybe they plan on the Offspring being a head if the deal with another act doesn't work out

If the Foos info tonight is correct then that would potentially put them in place to make up for cancelling. It also puts them in place to return to RAR again and they've only had a 3 year actual festival break since they've played it. Foos and LP in the same year would take me away from Download very easily.

What info on the the Foos?

Interesting. Any potential UK cities cited?

Nothing as yet, its in the Glastonbury headliner thread for 2027.

Doing a London show though wouldn't stop Reading and Leeds. I admit of they did a couple of London and like a Manchester show then it would look less likely but just London I don't think it affects it.
