They haven't bothered since 2016 or so anyway.....

Royal Blood were obviously 2017’s Pyramid rock act despite them not fitting in to the oldie category, and then Aerosmith were the one that got away from last year, so they’ve still been attempting to fill it (which they failed to do entirely in ‘19 by Emily’s own admission). I hope they still give it a go even if it doesn’t quite come together every once in a while.

I’ll be back tomorrow and the day after to upvote this post. I do have suggestions for the set list but I could not be happier with Priest on the pyramid. Rob would fucking love it!

GHOST would be a good one

I'd love for Ghost to play a high slot on the Other, possibly subbing it, particularly if we can have a lovely run through Miasma, Pope-a-Sax and all.

If he doesn't ride a motorbike down what Neil Finn dubbed Billie's ego-ramp, what is even the point.

    • Remain self-imposed on not going north of a hundred, but... we're getting to the point now where the starting gun will be above that for some acts.
    • I'm finding the lower line up a little impenetrable this year   Any thoughts on heavier bands a la Slift a few years ago?
    • Will be curious to see how most of those shows sell. Surprised they're playing Leeds and Manchester - much as I am with Megadeth. (Not complaining, mind you.)
    • Biffy Clyro back again for R+L then 😁   To be fair, Biffy Clyro still one of the true "coup" bookings they've had here. Not implausible another Victorious headliner ends up in the mix, given Ashcroft has done it before. Maybe Kasabian, on the back of their arena run?
