2022 Camp availability thread - post updates here

Recommended Posts

Figured this might be a good idea for people that don’t want to sift through the discussion on the main thread. Post campsite updates here for either reading or leeds

Try and preface what you’re posting with whether it’s at reading or leeds first though

Im not actually there yet so I’m half doing this for my own benefit but maybe it’ll help others too

I'm not there but can give anyone arriving thursday the run down based off past experience. If your a single tent or two small ones, just search about and you'll eventually find somewhere. If you have 3 or more tents then head to white.

Queues looked longer than ever this year based off reports.

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
