Thestylishkidintheriot
A bit underwhelming tbh, with the 2 headlines already having been announced.
Rose-Colored Boy
They’d have been better off announcing it all in one go because that’s possibly even worse than the Saturday. Wet Leg headlining lmao, I like them but good grief

Cost cuts plus nobody listens to the radio anymore so they can’t say to acts ‘we won’t pay you much but we’ll give you guaranteed airplay’ like they used to with Madonna, Lady Gaga, Coldplay etc.

stanh
Fri: Future Sounds Stage: Jamie XX / Arielle Free / Ben Hemsley / Danny Howard / Denis Sulta / Eliza Rose / Jayda G / LF System / Pete Tong b2b Sarah Story Radio 1 Dance Stage: Hannah Laing / Amyelle / Bru-C / D.O.D / Hayley Zalassi / Melle Brown / Schak Sat: Main Stage: The 1975 / Jonas Brothers / ArrDee / Jess Glynne / Joel Corry / Mimi Webb / Thirty Seconds to Mars / Tom Grennan Future Sounds Stage: Rudimental / FLO / Headie One / Pale Waves / Piri / Romy / Self Esteem / The Snuts BBC Introducing Stage: Akemi Fox / ARXX / Bemz / Caity Baser / Chowerman / Sliime / Tom A. Smith / venbee Sun: Main Stage: Lewis Capaldi / Wet Leg / Anne-Marie / Becky Hill / Niall Horan / Nothing But Thieves / Zara Larsson / TBA Future Sounds Stage: Sub Focus / Arlo Parks / Ashnikko / Cassyette / Cat Burns / Georgia / Inhaler / RAYE BBC Introducing Stage: Aby Coulibaby / Brooke Combe / Gretel Hänlyn / Katie Gregson-MacLeod / Michael Aldag / Piers James / Rose Gray Although not a great lineup by any standards, if I've done the math correctly, just under 54% (53.97) of the lineup is female or female-fronted which is great to see! Friday for me is the strongest day, especially for £18, the rest doesn't float my boat at all, but I'm sure it's decent enough for the locals to see some fairly big names nearby. I think we still have the Radio 1 Dance Stage to still be announced for the Saturday and Sunday, and then the BBC Introducing Stage for the Friday - correct me if I'm wrong. And then a TBA slot on the Sunday as well, not too sure who that could be though, especially if Wet Leg have headline billing!!

Rose-Colored Boy
Royal Blood added to the Sunday. With NBT and Wet Leg also on the Main Stage that day it’s a lot rockier than last year. Albeit with throwaway pop still in the clear majority.
