ah, yeah. Well apparently Sunak wanted to move earlier but then his wife's non dom thing came along.

You have to remember that Johnson was still pretty popular amongst the membership to the end...brexit and all that. And they will likely carry on most of his policies, all the sexy ones like sending asylum seekers to rwanda.
