Re-sale refresh question

So having bummed out in Oct Im wondering whether my over active refreshing sent me to the fabled 'dead end' page. Whats the general view on whether SEE were in fact redirecting any one who hit refresh more than 30 times in a minute? I know was getting the same holding page instantly irrespective of how quick I hit it. Which considering how you tend to get the white screen is a little suspect.

If that's the case wouldn't it also mean the more browsers you have on one machine and also the more devices you have on one IP address the more likely you are to be blocked?

Also I was paying a balance for my daughter yesterday and there was a 'ticket held for...' counter on the payments page. Do we think this is likely to come into play on the 28th? So if we get that far are they actually going to be held for us and therefore can we almost celebrate one page early?

For two years in a row I have had two browsers open

explorer and Chrome

Chrome works better on my work computer so I have had many tabs open, refreshing like my life depended on it . but for two years now I have had several open on internet explorer and every so often i just check explorer and refresh. and both years when i have gone to check explorer they have got through to the page and then I have got tickets.

this is all i will do from now on , I can never quit my job, as the three times I have got tickets they have all been on the same computer. I am now trapped.

Surely confirmation e-mail is the earliest we can celebrate!

Some people, including myself (trying for others) got to the final screen with the timer, but got stuck with a loading bar after clicking the final 'buy tickets' button. The timer ran down, we were dumped back to the start, and the tickets were gone.

In conclusion, there is absolutely no celebrating to be done until you have that confirmation screen!

    • All of these were published in July of their respective year. Appreciate the festival is a little later than normal but it must surely be live in the next 48 hours? The first events start in five days! 🤣
    • Took the words out of my mouth. He never misses.   Definitely adds fuel to the fire.
    • Gavin Leigh Davis on Instagram, the Fabrizio Romano of tour leaks, says Sam Fender outdoor shows and likely festivals next year. Didn't explicitly mention Glastonbury but adds more to the rumour
    • I think a lot of you guys don't see Tate McRae as headliner material however she was originally billed to play back in 2025 and had to pull out (https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/glastonbury-2025-headliners-revealed-tickets-line-up-1235915362/). She sold out out all of her arena shows in 2025 and just brought in huge crowds at Oshega and Lollapalooza. Given that she's gearing up to release the second album it lines her up for a tour run in her same gap as she's usually over here over Glaso weekend. I wouldn't rule her out.
    • I’d expect U2 & Muse to be options too.
