I have to say, ballsy comment mate, but there is no place in a festival lineup for that crap, she is fit though from memory so better than nothing I guess

Checked her schedule and she's touring at the time, although with some of the shite at Benicassim I'd love it.

The anniversary chat is always nonsense, not gonna suddenly hugely increase the budget for acts are they?

2017 was great, last year was good but that's a big drop off no doubt

I had high hopes for them to be frantically saving the line up but obviously that wasn't the case.

Pretty disappointed with the new acts added and I was no where near with my predictions as well. I think the new acts will appeal to a younger audience. This is going to be first year and with the line up, also my last. Looking at the acts from the last few years I was expecting something different.

I take it we will not get any bigger acts and only waiting on the days getting split up now? I was thinking they will announce this at the end of May

Well it does say 'and many more' but experience in these things tells me that we will get no one of note and just filler, looking through KOL, FF, Kodaline, Blossoms, George Ezra are pretty worthy of watching and I am interested to see Lana as I think it will be a good experience, it may be nice as well not to have to rush to watch loads of music and be a bit picky.

Would still like a couple of good names added but I think that ship has sailed -

52 announced so far, so about half way there.

There was an announcement about the 9th of May last year, but can’t see us getting anything again that soon.

surely they can’t wait any longer, the festival is creeping closer and closer and we still don’t even have half of the line up or day splits, they’ll have to announce it all soon or they’re going to be missing out on sales and further annoying the people who have already purchased tickets

I do think there is enough there to make it a good few days, I was just expecting a few older acts like Ashcroft, Biffy etc. I seen Lana last year and she was really poor. Really looking forward to Blossom, FF, FBS, KOl and a quick listen to Hunna and they sound good. .

if you’ve never heard The Hunna before give ‘Piece By Piece’ and ‘You & Me’ a listen, they’re the best in my opinion, will be sure to get the crowd going too

I’m expecting something in a couple of weeks, around mid May, but won’t be holding my breath.

Seen The Hunna at Kendal Calling 2 years ago, and went to see their tour not long after. Absolutely excellent live if they do songs from their first album. Second album was full of Americanised shite. They've since split from American management so hopefully back to decent stuff.

I saw them on their first two ever headline tours, didn't really bother after, not a bad band, will be a highly nostalgic time for me at Beni followed by Reading.

Love the optimism but after the shit they’ve hit us with so far I’d say there is zero chance.

Would be dying to see Anderson again, saw him in March and will be at Reading but he's a 10/10 booking for any festival.

    • Not my experience. I've always got the size I paid for.
    • Kind of crackers how fast this summer seems to be sailing by. But aye, must be some news soon!
    • I am very possibly wrong about this but I do think that the pitch you get allocated appears to be related to your time of arrival, (i.e. you get the next one available) rather than the price you paid for a small, medium or large pitch.  They all appear to be the same size to me.
