Hi..Can anyone tell me how the mobile phone charging works please. Can I leave my battery pack to be charged rather than my phone?

Never used it a Kendal but at other fests you leave your phone or hire a charger pack and keep going back for a full charger pack .

I'm heading in the Thursday but likely won't be there until about 5pm.

Never been down on the Thursday so hoping getting into the live in vehicle section isn't too bad.

They know how many vehicles are coming so although lot, I guess will be in, there'll be room. There has to be, you have a ticket. More will arrive Friday so you're be ok.

Brilliant thank you ☺️

The last festival I was at was the Wickerman where security etc was before you entered the car park. You then went straight to pitching your tent and there was a tent in the campsite to get your wristbands. We are in deer lodge At KC, can anyone advise if after we park up are we best to take just some of our belongings and then go back for the rest once we have our wristbands and found our tipee?  As I am guessing there will be a large queue with security being there also and don’t want to have to stand for a while with all our stuff. Is it easy enough to get back and forth to your car? Thank you in advance.

Yep is is easy enough, not sure if this will change with deer park moving this year but we generally (in Emporers) just grab the tents, get our bands, pitch then go back and forth for the other stuff

Hi

first time at KC for us. We're in living vehicle field. What is the best option for showers?

We're a group with 6 pitches booked. Will we be able to camp next to each other?

Can you get away with a gazebo up?

Can you sneak in a few cans? Bottom of bags etc

thanks

You will be able to camp together if you arrive together and I think you will be ok with a gavebo as log as it’s within the pitch size.

I was really difficult smuggling beer last year....they seem to have really clamped down. I don’t fancy your chances as you’ll be entering the arena via the main entrance

No idea about showers I’m afraid

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
