This is my first glastonbury and I have two questions - I am wondering when you get your tickets in the post ?  I am just worried in case mine have got lost and I should have received them by now ! And also when the final programme is ready with all the times of people playing, or is that not available until you arrive and get your programme?

The tickets are being sent out now, but they all get sent out over a number of weeks and your might not have been sent yet.

You can check the status of your tickets here:-

You will get a printed programme when you arrive on site as well, although it's a fairly hefty A4 magazine / book so not the most practical for carrying around I(and it's also a brilliant souvenir, so if you're anything like me it'll stay in the tent). You'll also get a little pocket-sized guide on a neck lanyard. Many people also print off the lineup in a more light-to-carry format from the Clashfinder http:///s/g2017/

best part is the week guide you get when entering the festival,

it tells you is where when and doubles up to carry  treats around in.

And it lets EVERYONE know about the special events on Wed/Thu so you've got no chance of getting into them.

These are absolutely indispensable! If there isn't one in the bag you get given at the gates (e.g. if you stay in Worthy View), you can pick one up from the Information kiosks dotted around the site.

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
