That's quire hopeful then - if there's 25 pairs and there's been a couple of hundred registered users on here...for one to win that might mean there have been less entries than we're all expecting.

I'm also mildly hopeful that people only have 48 hours to respond before the tickets are given to someone else. There's a tiny, tiny ray of hope yet-and isn't that what we're all here for?

have you got the number they called on, my mate missed a call this afternoon from a 0208 number!

Call them back! I missed a call because I was under The Channel for half an hour once. Rang back and it was Guinness and I was a winner for something I had drunkenly entered by text one night and forgot about. They were holding it (only a £25 HMV voucher mind).

I always google the number first. Sometimes ppi calls come from an 02 number

he would of left it and not called it back, he only called back then because i told him about the winner saying they got a call from the number, when i won it was a private number and thats what i told him to stay alert for :)

I think people have checked this time last year and people had the same optimism after the single sale, with more changes being made.

Not to bring anyone down or whatever...

i wondered this as well so i've just gone back through last year's email alerts. After the final resale 18th May there was one change 20th May at 20:42 to the ticket_coach_thur link. Then 26th May at 07:38 changes to the seetickets_root page and at 07:39 to ticket_coach_wed. And then 29th May at 06:59 a change to the ticket_ga link.

So it definitely seems like more activity to me, than there was this time last year. fingers crossed!

    • What is too old for Leeds Fest now ?  I'm going to the Fontaines Saturday in a few weeks at 54 !!!  I may be the oldest there 🙂    Wythenshawe may be an option for WA.
    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
    • I would be all over Wolf Alice but may have outgrown this venue.    Also have to consider the schedule they have been on this year so may be on a break.  This last 10 days alone they did Tramlines, New York, Chicago and Kendal Calling.  Although make hay while the sun shines may come into play.
