It's 3 years since I saw Placebo, but I reckon they've been ace live all but one of the 5 times I've seen them. The other wasn't that bad either, it was just a forgettable Sonisphere performance.

They're on their way to becoming Placebo.

Are they normally good? I hated them in 2011 but I've read that they were way below par that day, and that I should like them because Editors.

God I love Editors.

Interpol's first 3 albums are a step above anything Editors have done. I get the comparisons, although they're more appropriate re. early work.

Seen both them and Editors 3 times. For each found one performance ace, one decent and one dull.

When were those Editors performances, out of interest? And which was ace/decent/dull? Leeds 2013 midday on main was pretty crappy for me.

Werchter 08 was ace, Reading 13 was dull, their own show ~ 2010 was decent.

Ah the first time I seen them was 2012 at that homecoming show.

Seen Editors six times and they seem to be very very hit and miss... Newport centre 2007 was dull, Reading 08 was great, Glasto 2013 was amazing, Reading 2013 they werent at their best (crowd really didnt help), Cardiff 2013 was one of the best shows I've ever seen and Rock Am Ring 2014 was amazing.

Well that's certainly something that I don't really associate with Editors... but guess they really didn't fit into that sort of day... The Rock Am Ring alternastage lineup last year suited them much better... In fact the top four of Crystal Fighters into Editors into QOTSA into NIN is about as good a time as I've ever had at a festival

I remember that, can't remember if I got involved or not. I like to think that I didn't but that day was a bit strange.
