Last year combitickets sold out on March 30th, less than 3 weeks after 1st announcement. Is a fact that this year ticket selling is being slower than last year. I wouldn't be surprised if thy don't sell out friday and saturday tickets. I imagine that combitickts will sell out in the next weeks

Who are we thinking then? Kings Of Leon seem likely and perhaps No Doubt?

I've a feeling that we won't get the headliner on Monday.

Think we'll get Flying Lotus, Refused for definite.

I really want Hot Chip, the Manics, SFA, Azealia Banks, Beck and Blur. All of whom are available.

This announcement will be the most important for me. It'll be the clearest indication of how much the organisers give a shit about the feedback they've had so far and how much they value reputation over profit.

Is that a hint?...No doubt?

Haha, I should mind my words! No, I don't even see No Doubt as a possibility. If they're playing Pukkelpop they would likely be quite exclusive, and if Pukkelpop would go for exclusivity acts there are a dozen better choices.

Absolute best case scenario headliners

Prince

U2

Aerosmith

Blur

Madonna

The Quo

Acceptable headliners

Black Keys

Kings of Leon

Kanye West

Beck

Elbow

Nightmare scenario

System of a Down

The Offspring

Snow fucking Patrol

Taylor Swift

Most probable? Kanye, Stromae or the KOL.

Ella Eyre has an announcement tomorrow. Playing V on the weekend so got to be a chance of her doing the Thursday and appearing with Rudimental as well. Her PP set last year went down very well by all accounts and they've gone heavy on recent acts performing again in quick succession this year.

My Morning Jacket will definitely be on the announcement as well I reckon.

Gengahr, N'To, Shameboy, De Sluwe Vos Live, De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, Twenty One Pilots, Ganz, Tyler The Creator, Tiga, Raving George, Benjamin Booker, Ride.

Mark Ronson and Kele cancelled, Trixie Withley moved to a different day.

Another disappointing bunch, except for Ride. Not even FlyLo or Refused?

Question answered.

Another let down.

pretty underwhelming. gutted about Kele & Ronson too, was interested to see both of them!

only act that catches my eye with this is Tiga Live, think his live show could be pretty fun, not too bothered about TTC, but will watch him if nothing else is on....

EURGH.

Was kinda hoping for a bit more like Dillon Francis, Refused or BMTH.

Always thought we'd get the best of whats playing at R&L too, but so far, not seeing much!

Not dissapointed because I got what I was expecting: nothing.

My decision of not attending the festival is almost done. Only a decent pack of rock bands in the next announcement can change my decision. In case I won't attend it, I have a hotel room reserved in Ibis Hotel Hasselt at a cheap rate. If someone is interested just PM me.

That's very poor indeed. I know I am not their target audience, but Ride aside I could not name a single song by a single artist in that batch. Very disappointing indeed. And still no Saturday headliners? I can't even see anyone they would pass off as the headliner for Saturday really?

Really pissed off with how this year has gone. As I've said before, a whole group has forked out for flights , accommodation and tickets on my recommendation. Yes we’ll have a great weekend (if I go) and there’s plenty of bands to see on my agenda but compared to virtually every European festival this year is line up is very poor (V Festival still trumps it). I keep looking at it to make sure It’s not just a question of personal taste or sour grapes as the bands I want to see there aren’t there but I don’t think it is. I genuinely think that the organisers are scrimping on the line up in the confidence it’ll sell out anyway. I suppose time will tell with the announcement of the Saturday headliner. If it’s a good one, i.e. a Blur or someone of that stature it could potentially be for me, the best single PP day of any of the years I’ve been. With the Thursday being complete and the Friday still being awful with no promises of getting much better I’ve just got to weigh up whether it’s worth shelling a load of money in the hope of a good Saturday headliner or start seriously looking elsewhere. Really frustrating as I’m watching decent bands getting announced for festivals left right and centre and we’re not getting any of them.

Pukkelpop 2015 is the Newcastle United of the festival world, paying out average wages for average performers who you’ve never heard of and they still expect people to pay their money and turn up regardless of what’s on show.

    • Really like this! Few artists a bit low I reckon like the Reytons, Yard Act, the Royston Club and Florence Road but I’d absolutely take this!
    • Yeah Olivia Rodrigo walked right past me when leaving the crowd during The Cure set.   I had to escape where I was in the crowd so was just chilling in the bottom left corner when she walked through with a couple of others.    Thought it was her or someone who looked incredibly like her but no-one else seemed to pick up on it, either not bothered or just too engrossed in their own conversations to not notice..
    • Why?   It’s all made up nonsense, an illusion for the masses.   Who do we owe these numbers on a server to, and how will they collect them?

    • 😂😂😂   Hadn’t noticed that. In a world of weird placements that is surely the winner    Unless it’s for the “no sleep till Monday crew”
