This is just...... plain shit.

Quite some interesting mid-sized and small names. But seriously? Bastille headlining? Linkin Park, The Offspring and Limp Bizkit have been irrelevant for 10 years, yet they're all high on the lineup. This is far from a 190 euro lineup.

Where's Blur? Beck? The Libertines? Ride?

Edit: I take back those things about selling out fast. This could well be the first Pukkelpop since 2009 that doesn't sell out, unless they deliver an outstanding second package of names.

Festileaks is shit!! This year their sources told them that Underworld and Faith No More were nailed for Werchter and their inside sources for Pukkelpop that Blur was nailed... Every year, the same story.

EDIT: 30th anniversary?? No free drink tickets this year... Where the f*** is that money????

The headliners are a bonus for me but Bastille is poor by any standard. I know they like to give bands their first crack at it but where would they feature at other festivals, say like RW? Early evening on the Main is my guess. They seriously need someone like Blur on Saturday to redeem the situation.

As for the rest of the line up, its looking ace. Love the fact they've gone heavy on the techno this year with Len Faki, Adam Beyer, Kareen, Machinedrum and Ten Walls. Rebel Sound, Sigma, Black Sun Empire, Sigma and the amazing Spor all tick the DnB box and there's a lot of excellent left-field artists like Four Tet, Hud Mo, John Talabot and Little Dragon. Tame Impala, The War on Drugs, Seasick Steve, Jurassic 5, Roots Manuva, Allah Las and Parov Stelar are all welcome additions for me. Will have a good look through the rest when I get home tonight.

Analyzing the size of the name of each band in last part of the video that they have posted in Facebook:, it seems:

Thursday: Limp Bizkit subbing - Linkin Park headlining

Friday: Ellie Gouldging subbing - Bastille headlining

Saturday: The Offspring subbing - ???? headlining

Unbeliveable

I don't mind that the headliners are rubbish. The Main Stage is always my least favourite one, so the fewer times I need to go there the better.

Plenty of mid-range names to keep me happy (Underworld, FFS, Interpol), and I'm sure there are many happy discoveries to be made among the load I don't know.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
