When is KC line up usually announced?

yeah, i've seen the line-up - which I can't tell you about.

But it did make me go 'wow'. :)

(note: that 'wow' is unlikely to be based on my personal tastes, but it would be very boring round here if I was posting "this line-up is shit" based on just my personal tastes for just about every fest :P).

wow as in bigger acts than you would've expected from a festival that size? or just a general big lineup?

haha fair enough! your reaction has me excited though. And slightly regretting not buying tickets already before the announcement!!!

I took the risk and bought one on my way when they first came out. I had faith that the lineup would be good enough to get my mates to jump aboard. I hope it is otherwise I will be flying solo.

Aye, I was keeping the expectations in check after the first round of announcements last year but that really is a topper ! They will sell it out for sure so I`m just going to get my tickets this morning. How many extra tickets are they selling this year compared to last year ? Was 5000 mentioned ? Fingers crossed for better weather :beach:

You got your wickerman tickets yet Rams ( you know it makes sense ). Think they will hold off with their announcement for a while. They won`t be able to compete with KC`s.

Nah doesn't look like we're going this year. We're supposed to be going to Dorset that week but that may fall thru as well.

Still think I might wait closer to the date an get a ticket for myself an leave the rest of them at the cottage in Dumfries

I may end up camping in the numb / Lochland party field !

Nice one. The Lochman has plenty room as you know and if your not there, he will be still working out how to get it up..................by the time James walk out at Kendal ;)

they'll be in your tent ! He'll no doubt slip the sherpas another few notes to take all your stuff back to your car to make room for him !

told you it was a 'wow' :D

Think that I'm in the minority but I'm very disappointed with the headliners except for James. Pleased with Public Service Broadcasting, Levellers, Billy Bragg, Embrace and a few others but going to wait for the Calling Out announcement before buying tickets.

from a personal point of view I'm disappointed with all of them .

My 'wow' was about what KC had managed to line up for itself, which I'd say is waaaay beyond the sorts of expectations of headline acts (personal tastes aside) that just about anyone would have had for KC.

I am disappointed. Snoop has played Manchester maybe 3 times in the last 2 years. The having to pax extra to see James on the Thurday has really annoyed me. I am going to Delamere Forest 3 weeks before anyway annd I reckon they will be at Glasto.

There is not enough in that line up to persuade my mates to go and do not fancy flying solo for 4 days. I think that I am going to sell my ticket. I also do not think it is going to sell out as quickly as people think.

I think they have got into bed with Parklife.

I know one promotion company were heavily involved in both in the past (i know this from ending up at both for free in 2012 due to connections!), so they always have been linked. I don't know how far that involvement goes nowadays though as im sure i heard something changed there
