Anyone seen any clues as to who might show up on the Thursday? We're usually entertained by three contest winners and a couple of others, but I've seen no mention of them this year.

Thurston Moore is playing that Mosely Folk Festival thing on the same weekend, stick me down for a groundless speculation on him being a Thursday night special guest. And Moonface.

This is pure speculation but perhaps Daniel Rossen might do a set eh? He's playing solo at the Union Chapel that week and will be at the festival as part of the Gene Clark No Other Band.

There's a convenient gap in Pains Of Being Pure At Heart's tour schedule, but I've heard no rumours or confirmations. All secret squirrel stuff this year!

Anyone tell me what the queue was like to get in when gates opened last year? Can't be bothered to queue up like in 2012 when arriving an hour later you would have walked straight in!

Last year we were a fraction later and walked straight in. But we might go for the queue this year, as we've got a bigger tent and we need to ensure space!

2012 was a horrible queue though.

Here's a random guess for the Thursday night - Jimi Goodwin, lead singer of Doves. Seems to be everywhere to promote his solo record this summer, so I wouldn't be surprised if he popped up. It's a bit more on the acoustic side than Doves and his tour schedule is free on the 28th.

Found a possible thursday band Speak Galactic are playing EOTR according to them and EOTR festival themselves on their band pages

In his TLOBF preview piece Simon said Ezra was playing twice. Seems a bit of a waste for one to be on the Thursday, but there you go.
