Come on let's face it kasabian are probably the best festival band around today. They owned arcade fire (to pretentious these days) and the crowd look way more into it than Metallica. They have so many hits. Saw them last week in Leicester (my home town) and they were amazing and seen them many times including a few at glastonbury and they just get better and better.

I love that they were sort of written off when they first came out and people thought franz Ferdinand and kaiser cheifs were going to be huge bands - well kasabian have proved everyone wrong

Jack white pissed me off getting so smashed that he fucked up the last few songs including my favorite ever 7 nation army which he sung the wrong notes made me angry at him for like the first time

Kasabian are good but just not great tonight.

Absolutely love Kasabian and they were amazing when I saw them in 2011 but watching their set and it's left me cold for some reason, I'm not there though so can't really comment as it's always totally different when you're there. Felt the same for Jack White as well and I never thought I would utter those words haha.

Yeah yeah, I wasn't saying they were bad! They will always get the crowd jumping no matter what and people will come away loving it, just wasn't feeling it as much as some of their other festival shows personally, again I can't comment as I wasn't there though (Would have given a bollock to be there this weekend though; next year, eh!)

A proper headliner who this really meant a lot too, who give it everything and in my opinion really pulled it off. As a fan of them since they first started I'm so happy for them and glad they played such an amazing set and I hope everyone who was lucky enough to see them really let loose and had a blast. Always love to hear from people who are seeing them for a first time.

There doesn't seem to be a stream for Massive Attack at all, were they filmed the last time they played, maybe they declined to be filmed. Was their performance available on the red button?

Edit: cancel that, just seen the other thread.

Crowd felt no bigger than Arcade Fire and definitely smaller than for Dolly which was absolutely rammed. To be fair I was on my way back from London Grammar so only saw the last two songs...

I thought the BBC wasted a lot of time showing these studio performances that doesn't really reflect the outside at the festival, more time could have been given to other live acts, although I did enjoy the veggies and cookies rap. How many people attending the festival get to see these studio sets they are basically performing for BBC presenters. Could have done with more full electronic sets, too much emphasis on live bands.
