What gigs are you excited for this year?

Are they any more "everywhere" than like Peace or Palma Violets, though? I'm sure I remember there being as much fuss about them last year, although I could be wrong.

Yeah, probably. I can't remember them two getting much Radio 1 hype or playing big outdoor supports or anything. It's much easier to draw a line comparing them to Jake Bugg or The Vaccines than the two you mentioned and it seems that their festival slots are gonna pack tents out based on general anticipation. I could easily be wrong but we'll probably have a general idea by the time they've played R+L.

Yeah best to see how big of a crowd they get at festivals. Got a big one at Download and it was coming out of the tent (according to NME) but it is still good to see what happens and Glasto, T and R&L though

I have no doubt Royal Blood will be big but I don't think it will be quite as quick as expected. I still think their album will be out earlyish next year, rather than rush to put one out this year.

I think Royal Blood will peak at a 3rd down on mainstage band. They're good but their hype will die down a bit. All my mates are into their music and they didn't know of them til I mentioned them. Obviously my group of mates isn't much of a scale to judge on obviously but I was surprised considering I'd seen you lot saying they were gonna be huge.
