A Glastonbury Novel

Recommended Posts

My Dad has just finished a novel about Glastonbury, and I thought you guys might be interested to hear about it. It's called Facing the Music, 50% of all profits are going to the Glasto charities (Oxfam, WaterAid and Greenpeace), and the kindle/ebook version is only £3.

He's been working on it for the past 5 years or so, and it really is a labour of love for the festival. It would mean the world to us if you could check it out.

Can't fucking wait for the 26th...

Haha, to be sure. He took me to glastonbury for the first time in 2002, aged 10. When I read it there are certain things that the son says that could've come straight out of my mouth seven years ago. Only a partial influence though, the book isn't autobiographical.

Just ordered it to my kindle. Love books like this that describe the Glastonbury experience. Am currently in the middle of the ''left again at the womble' sort of a diary about a guy working the festival (I believe he's on here?). Enjoying it, well apart from the occasional digs at everton fans!!

Will start on the novel after! Good release timing!

It's the author here, just a little surprised the kids got in there first... Thanks to everyone who's bought a copy of the novel so far - I really hope you like it. Not only would it be ideal for someone to read on the coach trip down (great idea, GetOffAMyLawn), but it would also make a good pressie for anyone who didn't get a ticket this year! Read a preview on this link: http:///1i8Dmyg . As you'll see, I'm going to donate half of any profits to the Glasto charities.
