No joy unlocking it. The link I posted earlier directed you to a 'survey; to complete before you got the download. No genuine uploader gets you to do this.

Not to worry I bought the phone on quidco so it was free + if you search on there you can get a free sim that has £10 cash back if you top up £10 so I've ordered one of those too!

The phone is cool it has a flashlight, radio and snake. The case is so thin though you can see the keypad light shining through it lol.

There do seem to be quite a lot of sites with similar instructions to unlock them so I reckon it must be possible. I don't have enough knowledge to judge which site looks least dodgy though!

That was the one Ruby. The serial number text file isn't the same as in the video you have to sign up to something. Even if you give fake details and get a serial number I'd be very surprised if it worked. It's just a con. Look at the review dates on youtube. All 9 months ago which screams fake.

The links to unlock phones all seem to be older models.

Anyone else got any ideas how to unlock? Also my phone is saying 'sim not valid' with no option to enter an un;ock code. Not having much luck here...

My Quidco cashback hasn't tracked yet - should I be worried. Usually have no problems.

Plus it looks to me like the cashback offer has disappeared now on Quidco too

Didn't you get the o2 PAYG sim card with the phone? Sorry if I didn't explain it very well, I didn't really think about the unlocking thing as I was always planning on keeping it totally separate from my main phone. I'm going to keep it turned off in the glove box of my car after Glasto for emergencies too.
