Wonder if they will be back in the Acoustic Field this year. I know they went missing last year - and - despite their wonderful pancakes - their presence always causes a stir..( a very heated debate on here last time if I recall..)

I'm sure they were there a few years ago ( I remember being surprised they were back at the time ) we used to be very shocked at the views in the literature on the tables - it was a real late night "pancakes v ethics" dilemma...

When were they last at the festival? I'm sure I heard somewhere that they were banned several years ago for having some strange hidden God bothering agenda. Could be wrong though.

The same people run Common Loaf Bakery can often be found at farmers markets in the SW. They didn't return in 2013 as they felt the location they were given in 2011 was hidden away by the cinema and this reduced footfall.

I mentioned Williams Green had opened so maybe they will have applied for there this year. I am not religious BTW, just a lover of good food! :)

Everything we post is an opinion! If people just post about the food side of things, it implies then other issues aren't important or should be ignored, making it your opinion ;)

No, you must be though, I answered a question I happen to know the answer to. I did not want to start the whole argument on a cafe that for many years has been at Glastonbury.

If answering a question in an opinion then that is news to me.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
