it looks like all these websites are saying they are the headliners as that what everyone else is saying and what it looks like, until benicassim actually announce it I guess there is hope but the only headliner i can really see changing is tinie tempah

I don't think you can take efestivals as a reliable source. I'm going to Beni this year and I'm also going to Roskilde in Denmark. They have released days and even times of the acts on their official website, but efestivals has the days and stages mixed up, this includes the headliners.

In previous years they've used a name as a place holder so I'm still sure something might be annoyed. Eminem on 17th? Who knows we'll see.

A group of 20+ are going this year it's going to be madness in the sunshine!

I think they made it up there is nothing about headliners in official press releases and I doubt that they communicate directly to FIB's organizers.

Tinie tempah as a sub to Eminem! This finally makes sense to me. I hope it will came true.

The Libs are obviously the biggest name they've got so surely if they was going to announce another headliner for the Thursday they would of done it before The Libs or at least the same day? I've got a feeling we're stuck with Tinie as the headliner unless there still trying to land one more big name and they've just dropped The Libertines today just to shut everyone the Fuck up... I'm super happy with the Libertines. They are one of the dream acts that were pitched with Prince, Oasis and The Stones in the -Imagine If- category. At the beginning of all this no one would have even thought they would play again, let alone headline Beni. So Fuck Yes.

In saying that full marks go to Beni for being the ultimate masters of Buzz Kills. What is the one way you can take the shine off one of the best headline acts of the year? Tinie Tempah to headline! When I first saw him announced on the initial line-up I was like what the hell... that dude still does shows?

No way in the world is he the final headliner for Thursday. There will be another headliner announced but I doubt it will be anyone huge. I imagine it will be a solo act though. Just to put TT there has completely back fired on them and what should have been elation on the facebook pages has turned to vitriol.

At this point I would actually take Lana Del Rey to headline the Thursday. She would at least equal Florence.

There is no way they would have bumped Tinie Tempah to headline over the others they have got, then in the video they released put him that far down the order of names in their little stop motion thing. Paolo Nutini looks nailed on to headline and I am happy to concede that to get the Libs. Libs & Paolo > KOL and Biffy Clyro

Still praying the final headliner will be Morrissey. Almost everyone on the facebook page is screaming for him. He has played there a few times as a sub so wouldn't be crazy headliner expensive. And would fit the 20th anniversary perfectly.

Anyway, it's run by a team who have inside knowledge of most of the major festivals in the world, and generally know most of the headliners of major festivals before they're announced, hence why people have won several grand off bookies because of them this year. I can imagine that part of the reason they don't make appearances in this particular forum, other than to moderate, is because it's fairly worthless to the website in the scheme of things, compared to Glastonbury, R&L, T and V.

It's also worth noting that the user efests has close links with Carl, and announced the Hyde Park gig several days before it looked anywhere near likely to be happening.

If they, and several other sources, have said he's the final headliner, it'd be willing to bet on it coming from virtually an official source, probably the press release, and him being at least a co-headliner. It's their business to ensure accuracy and protect their reputation, so it's massively unlikely they've given something a guess.

As I said, Beni is virtually worthless in the scheme of things to the website compared to the other festivals. Obviously it's a big European festival, but it's fairly obvious Glastonbury/R&L even V bring substantially more traffic to the site, meaning its more important to appeal to those types of people.

Thanks to efests revealing Kasabian and Metallica for Glastonbury, several months in advance, people were putting hundreds of quid on at a time. I'm fairly sure someone stuck on a total of 900 on Metallica, some of it at 9 and 10/1.

Check the views for this thread and the previous one, the beni threads are the most popular in the international thing.

Comes up high in Google when people search benicassim tips or similar, which I'm sure is how most of us found it.

Would say them few hundred thousand Google hits alone get a fair bit of advert money.

And the whole Libs thing, no one was saying a serious word until the Israeli article got released. If they're that close with Carl, why wasn't it hinted at?

Anyways, I think its clear the run by idiots thing was more a sweeping statement about how no one bar thepeople at FIB actually seem to have the foggiest what's going on.
