Single Ticket holder- What to do about Camping?

There will be lots of solo ravers heading to Glastonbury, so I'm sure you'll find a group to camp with - look on the Chat thread as I'm sure there are a couple of 'going it alone' threads.

Even if you do camp 'on your own' your nearest neighbours will be inches away, so I'm sure you won't get lonely!

I'm going alone as well and its also my first time so been doing a lot of reading about the best place to camp. Don't want to be wandering around aimlessly with all my gear cos I'll have to pitch by myself as well.

Getting there on Thursday but more than happy to meet up with other soloists and possibly help each other out with the pitching as well. :)

Head for Bushy Ground. It's where all the cool people who don't care about being cool will be. Close enough to the action? Check. Quiet enough to actually sleep? Check. Enough space to have some green outside your tent? Check. I'm almost certain that's where I'll be, but if that doesn't put you off, see you there!

I'm planning to arrive on the Tuesday, as I'm working the fest, so I'll be all set up by the time most arrive. If any solo campers think they'll need help pitching their tent on Wednesday/Thursday, give me a shout and I'll do my best to rendezvous with you and help out. Also happy to show newbies around a bit if wanted :-)

I went by myself last year and it was an amazing experience, probably even better than in a group like I've done in previous years. I'll be going on my own again this year and I always try to camp in Big Ground, it's always lively and loads of people to meet.
