Best ever set at T for me - Brian Wilson headlining the Pet Sounds Arena in 2007. A true musical legend performing the songs that we wanted to hear. It was pissing it down outside but in that tent it was roasting hot and he transported every single person to California for an hour. Amazing.

From Scotties interview

"Fat Boy Slim will take the roof of the King Tut's Tent. The Script will have big singalong moments. Twin Atlantic headline Radio One Stage and will have a big crowd, they just got added to the line-up this morning, the band are currently in Australia, and we got confirmation in the early hours of this morning. Which is great because they are on their way to selling out the Hydro in Glasgow, so to have them on the Radio One Stage is a great thing for them and us. Then we've got The Proclaimers in the King Tut's Tent, and Courteeners in there, plus Above & Beyond and Clean Bandit, plus more leftfield acts like St Vincent and Jamie T on the Radio One Stage as well, and Alabama Shakes who have got a new album, that from what I've heard has a Motown feel to it. Catfish & The Bottlemen, Years And Years, and Idlewild who have a great new album"

Gives us an idea of a couple of stage confirmations

Yeah interesting few clues there. Wasn't expecting Jamie T on R1 stage at all. Is it just me or does the wording of that sound like Proclaimers are headlining Tuts on Saturday? Meaning Courteeners would be beneath them.

Also exciting that he said there's some more acts being announced next (now this) week

EDIT: just noticed he said "a hell of a lot" of artists this week. Exccccellent

I think you're maybe over reading it though I may be wrong

I would expect The Proclaimers to play the kind of slot Travis played a couple of years back

Think fatboy will be bursting at the seams

Was hoping for tuts should be awesome

I think it would be slightly odd if Fatboy Slim and Guetta are clashing, i know they aren't massively similar but I'm surprised they would put them on at the same time

Looking at Efest's interview with Geoff it looks like we will be getting more acts this week including 1 or 2 Americans

"The artists that we'll be announcing next week a hell of a lot of them, there might be one or two Americans, but a hell of a lot of them are British acts"

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
