I took a flag last year (mentioned in another thread) and I make no apologies for doing so we tended to be in the rear third of any act we saw apart from Seasick Steve and Kenny Rogers. It wasn't about being on tv for us it 2as about celebrating my partner surviving breast cancer. Bright yellow flag with a huge pink ribbon on it and the letters YNWA in red letters above it and the reaction we got off people brought me to tears a few times. It was on an 8 metre telescopic pole it will more likely stay at our tent this year as there are only 2 of us going apposed to 4 last year but if we do take it out again we will be towards the rear in plenty of space as I'm Conscious of obstructing peoples views.

I've been catching up on last night's Coachella perfomances and there isn't a single flag. I didn't realise it was just a British thing.

I don't take a flag or go down the front I just like the view of them and the band from the back.

How about no flags in that inner circle bit, that's easy to police and fair for all isn't it? Pyramid only mind but that's where most of them are....

I quite like the flags but I agree that people shouldn't take them near to the front of the stage, it's a bit inconsiderate.

I'm 5'2" however so I've never been able to see anyone on the stage because of tall people. Welcome to my life!
