I think they said they were going to go on hiatus this year but have obviously decided not to what with the July dates and the new album.

I don't think they're gigging or touring internationally; just a couple of shows here and there while they work on one or two new albums, particularly the festival headline shows.

They are releasing 2 albums this year. Both will be exceptional. I really hope they play, would see them before anyone else. An absolutely brilliant band who are very underappreciated. Far better than the national, nick cave and radiohead.

The cribs are never in a hiatus, even when they say they are taking a break they don't really. Just off the weezer cruise where they played several gigs, bang in the middle of recording 2 albums and are convinced that they will be two of their best. Headlining 2 festivals in the uk in July. Without a doubt they will be there. Amazing live band.

The Cribs solidly deliver brilliant shows every time, I've seen them more times than any other band (about 15 I think...) and each time they still manage to get me excited about the show, like I'm at a really important gig that will go down in history. They never seem to stop playing gigs, so it's a testament to the Jarmans that they very clearly throw all their energy in whenever they come on stage.
