Oh i would! I never leave anything behind that dosn't go in a bin, even gave a crate of lagers ( in tins) to the security. I couldn't believe the Shit that was being left behind by some lazy toe rags. My first year was 2009 and it's got worse since then not better. Now at the risk of sounding ageist, i know i failed, the younger the crowd becomes the less lack of respect to the farm we will see. It's a great job that the clean up crew do, so hats off to them.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching that video. Fair play to you and all the other clear up volunteers. I wouldn't be adverse to the idea of doing it myself, but with a finite amount of annual leave from my job, then such notions stay as dreams.

In addition to the above I now know what The Fuck Buttons sound like. It's no secret on here that my knowledge of music is limited. That said, I like the sound of this band. I may even listen to some of their other stuff now. This is almost unheard of in my life.

So, in essence, a double thank you sparkythetortoise.

Just got round to watching the fully video! Thanks for posting, really cool if a little sad to see it all being dismantled :)...

and bang on on about the shit left behind in this thread. There really are no excuses at glasto with the amount of bins around etc to just leave your shit where ever you feel like.

You can't leave it where it is, though. Too much of the crap is cans and the like, and there is also, shamefully, loads and loads of glass. Over that week, I was on glass duty most of the time, and filled a couple of skips a day (like the ones you get outside building sites) just with glass bottles.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
