What do you rate the chances of the strokes playing? See they have been down as a R for some time now

I spoke to Albert Hammond, Jr. last month and he expressed that he was unsure we'd see The Strokes in the very near future or what the plan for them was.

My guess would be that we're most likely to see him on JP doing his solo thing, which he's touring until at least the end of May.

the strokes at reading a few years back was one of the most forgettable experiences ever, + considering I bought a ticket on the basis of seeing them.

Even their best stuff isn't designed to be played in a field. But they'd be too big for JP too.

I thought they were great at Reading 2011, although I'm comfortably in the minority.

Their only redeeming feature of their 2011 Leeds festival show was that Julian Casablancas stayed at home, and some fat fuck dressed like Julian Casablancas, doing his best grumpy Julian impression was their frontman instead.

Sad state of affairs when Paul Simon being played before the show was by far the best crowd reaction.
