2014 Wishlist

This isn't who you think will be there next year it's who you hope will be there to make it a good festival for you.

I hope for Ed Sheeran maybe third from top on main, Passenger middle of the Arena, Mumfords headline on the same day as them two. Someone like Avicci would be good on 4Music if an indie rock band was on main.

What do others want to see to make you buy a ticket to V2014

some old pop stuff for the missus, bananarama, human league or something like that. She also likes Coldplay but cant see it meself like

some old punk for me. buzzcocks, stranglers or maybe BAD again

daughter would be happy with Rudimental and Tom Odell again and Kasabian headlining

got tickets already so not too fussed really, there's always enough going on for a great weekend

Hoping for a big guitar act to headline - a Coldplay, muse, oasis (unlikely but still rumoured). If its Mumford as the main 'indie' headliner alongside a beyonce type act the other stages would need something epic for me to go back. Unless lady gaga played, that'd be amazing.

Coldplay and Mumford and sons to headline saturday and sunday would sell it for me and make me go a second time. I would like to see Imagine dragons, Example, Avicii, Chase and Status, Haim, Kasabian, Disclosure, The Temper Trap and Pigeon detectives again also Steve Angello!

Two thirds of that is this year's Reading line-up, and the other third probably wouldn't take anything except headline slots now, except Kelly Clarkson and Little Boots maybe.

In fact there's a leaked list thing for Lollapalooza in Brazil/Chile that has Bjork, Depeche Mode, Portishead and Editors sharing a bill. Obviously it's all the way in Brazil but it suggests they may do some UK/Euro festivals though.

Okay some are realistic and others aren't :-P I think Rudimental will be back and will be on main stage, don't know about Tom Odell. Bigger names like nick cave and Portishead aren't looking like V acts but ya never know :-P

I think if Fatboy Slim headlined a stage it would be arena now. V would probably give the second stage headliner to someone more currently charting but I'd still like to see him :-)
