I love Autumn though, I always think there's something exciting in the air. Maybe it's because Halloween was always a real big deal when I was growing up, with all the old traditional superstitions.

totally random, but have you seen this? its the global porn search map. shows what the top 10 most popular porn searches are by region. Its NSFW obviously, but there are no images, just the usual words you would find on a porn site.

Interesting to see that in "the deep south" of america, "ebony" is number one across about 5 states.

Here's a question for any nutritionists/biologists out there.

I think I might be anaemic, stupidly dieting on mainly fruit and veg, and I've been craving carrots, which is quite common in iron deficient people, because vitamin A aids iron absorption.

But wouldn't it be more productive to crave a big juicy steak?

The only logical reason I can think of is that it might be evolutionary suicide to have an irresistible urge to hunt a dangerous animal when you're weak and groggy from lack of oxygenated blood to the brain.

Any alternative theories?

Carrots aren't the first thing I associate with rabbits.

Erm...no, I don't think I have any bunny tendencies.

Anyway, I've had a sensible theory from a psychologist now - we wouldn't have eaten a lot of meat originally, so it would make sense to optimise the limited meat supply with iron enhancing veg.

In the meantime, I've found some books on Amazon that explain why dieting makes you fat. So chocolate and Guinness it is from now on.

It makes you think - when did man first start eating meat? Presumably it'll have been driven by startvation. I wonder if people were cannibals first and then moved onto other meat.

Apologies for the crudity - I think over exposure to rabbit shit as a child has had a long and lasting affect on me.

Fortunately not. They once owned a bit of land in Evesham where we used to go out to throughout the summer. The place was covered in rabbit shit. Being from the city I'd never seen rabbit shit before so to see it in such quantities somehow fascinated me.

My interest doesn't stop there though. I remember as a kid in the 70's seeing white dog shit on the pavements. You just don't see white dog shit like that anymore. Apparently dog food is now much healthier and nutritious, so I am told.

Anyway, that's me done on the shit front - although some would argue that any future posts I make would fall into that category.
