@dietediet I know what you mean, with the lineup I think there will be a lot of out of place bands. If I was ellie goulding I wouldn't want to be subbing main either, that would be awful, even if you were a fan it would be shocking and she just hasn't got the voice for it.

Over all, the line up has a lot I want to see and I'm very excited to go. I just can't bring myself to feel sorry for the "regulars", sure you're used to better line ups, I understand your POV, but you've had some incredible bands this past decade, you can be slightly disappointed for a year. I'm sure they'll have more to work with next year.

Hi all, help please... been struggling to get tickets for RW2014, and combi tickets being sold out is a pain in the buttockssssss (namely as I was set to buy on the Tuesday, 3-4 days after they announced they were sold out).

I was supposed to be heading on a stag-do with friends, half of which have tickets - half don't ... sooooooo

if anyone is selling or knows anyone that is selling their combi tickets please please please let me know (need around 6 or 7 combi tickets). If you can forward details too AndrewHart1981 (at) gmail (dot) com - it would be mega appreciated.

I can pass between the group of us left and they will be snapped up quick style!!!!

Thanks in advance :)

Andrew

I know I have said I wanted some heavier bands/bands I really like, but overall Im happy with the lineup. Theres about 25 bands I will see, clashes only on Thursday/Saturday. Very few bands I would pay to see, but at least it can be a sun holiday with good bands for me.

I am content about the overall line up. I am sure that it's going to be massive festival considering the fact that the last couple of festivals I went, I only managed one day to spend 8 hours non stop hearing artists. My advice to new festival goers, pick those artists that you want to listen and then experiment a bit aswell..

Yesterday, I heard a couple of songs of Reignwolf, and whilst the songs are not out of this world, one can appreciate the work he put into it, playing the instruments all on his own. These artists deserve the recognition in festivals like this. Needless to say, bands like Metallica and Pearl Jam are not to miss... Then again, the artist im most looking forward to is Trentemoller. Simply amazing.

Pearl Jam is my all time favorite band. But I've seen them many times. I've never seen Stones. BUT, having said that, Rolling Stones just announced concert in Stockholm on Thursday July 1st....and I'm going to Stockholm to see Pearl Jam on Saturday June 28th....I guess I'll be staying a little longer in Sweden :D

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
