Though if Neil's right next year's line-up's not exactly to be sniffed at. Noone quite as big asd the Stones, but probably stronger overall.

stronger overall is better for us, but increasingly, the headliners are all about publicity/media exposure. One huge name will make the whole thing, as Nal says. There won't be anyone bigger unless LZ do it, which I reckon won't happen.

And in fairness, next time radiohead headline, despite how much everyone here hates them (I dont!), that will be a big event. They havent headlined the mainstage for over 10 years now.

I don't agree. In general I think the hunger to play the festival will be higher now in the industry after The Stones gave it their stamp of approval.approval.

Glastonbury and The Stones are both a lot cooler now than they were 3 weeks ago.

Only someone who fancies having a stab at topping them (in this instance, Led Zep). I'd say it's a fair bet that Jagger only really became set on playing Glastonbury after seeing U2 do it.
