Any more rock/metal acts?

First time at Bestival at the tender age of 30 and love the eclectic line up especially with While She Sleeps in there alongside Musical Youth and The Wonder Stuff...

At the moment though they seem to be on their own - anyone reckon anymore acts like this will be added?

Really odd isn't it. Last year Gallows were on the bill, with nothing similar around them. Main stage an' all. The only other heavy act I've found is DJ Daniel P Carter. Possibly Skaters?

I think it's just the festival booking policy, they might have the odd heavier act if they're around cheap, but it's not the type of music they're generally aiming to put on.

It's a shame Rob hasn't booked a few more heavier/rock names. Cancer Bats & Fucked Up would have been brilliant additions to the line up.

To be fair though, I still can't believe Phoenix aren't playing, I mean they're in London on the 7th Sep for the I-tunes festival & have bugger all else on around that time. I'd have thought they'd have been the perfect 'bestival band', but I guess not.
