Yes you can buy fruit from inside the festival site. There will be basic food stalls in the east campervan fields (usually a basic burger van) - not sure if it's open Tuesday though - maybe someone else can answer that.

Recommend the place in the theatre field where you choose your fruit from a huge selection and they make it into a gorgeous smoothie for you.

We take the kids there for breakfast and then don't feel so bad if they eat pasta/ pizza etc for rest of the day.....

I think the burger van was open in CV East on Tuesday evening at the top of the Hill of Death last time. But I don't remember it being very special.

We ate in our trailer tent anyway as we had a group member who enjoyed cooking.

We might find that there will be quite different food stalls at the fest this year so anyone in the CV fields could be different and have different opening hours.

anyone remember the Jamaicans who used to sell melons pineapples ect just out side the fence near gate B or C ..............they are probably doing the same inside nowadays but i always remember them being really happy with music blaring shouting MELONS MELONS PPPIINNEEAAPPPPLLEESSS MELONS LOVELY FRESH MELONS well you get the idea

oh and they use chop the melons in half with a great big flipping knife ........could tell they hadnt been up for 3 odd days lol

One was near the fruit stall I mention in post #8 and the other was near the entrance to the Acoustic tent field. Ask at any info point if you can't fine them

There was a 'farmers' market' in Greenpeace last time - there was a fruit stall there which was very good, as well as Lynda's Loaf which had lots of lovely bread (including massive slabs of cheesy pesto foccacia which was beyond delicious - would quite like a slice right now)
