Id like to see Chase and Status or Knife Party, but C&S would either want to sub main or headline 2nd, and all the headliners being thrown around apart from JT are acts I would like to see. I cant see V not having a big DJ on the second stage headline though, they seem to have done it for a while

At least sampuncher is likely to get at least a warning for the use of "mong", and given that they're the sort of person to use the word in the first place, they'll probably get banned soon too.

All sorts of win here.

Even if he is banned, at least he walks away with The Killers greatest hits as a booby prize

Im thinking is he Indie53 from last year...maybe made a new account if he got banned from last year.

Would be very surprised if they didn't have a guitar based act as one headliner.

Id be surprised too, but there are maybe less guitar bands available

I do miss Indie53 and you rowing I must admit

Me too :P

There's a gap in Lady Gaga's tour between the end of her U.S. tour and the Australian tour. The end of the gap fits quite nicely with a V appearance.

Just saying like. :P

Maybe we said her name too many times and now she is going to turn up :O

"All sorts of win" except for the fact that you're a committed member of the v festival forum, ironically you're a loser of life.

DING DING DING

Aren't you the lucky one Sampuncher, not only have you won The Killers greatest hits album for using the word mong, for saying the word ironically you have won a second spot prize, what has he won Andy the VoiceOver man

"Sam, tonight whilst driving home you will be listening to;

Well Done Sam, you have one more chance to win a spot prize later on the only game show which rewards the snobs

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
