I would say embrace and editors are pretty much nailed on to be announced tonight, also maybe the manics.

I can't see prodigy playing, are they really going to do 3 English festivals in the space of a couple of months?

I'm looking for a festival in July/August so I'm hoping editors, embrace and manics get good positions if they do play.

This is 2014, Embrace aint getting a good position.

Depends what you think is a good position, high up on a small stage would be suffice.

Saying that there academy tour is selling very well, so demand is still there.

Although my head says about 4th from top on second stage, if they do play.

Just opened up Gigwise, who used to be a decent website, but now are shockingly bad.

10 acts they think will be at V.

1 - Katy Perry... ok unlikely, but COULD happen I guess.

2- Disclosure. ERM playing Reading and Leeds so clearly AREN'T playing, fucks sake who writes for this website these days, IDIOTS.

I did stop looking at that point to write this but I'll go back and list the other 8

Yep that's bad. She's on her own tour during V weekend in US.

    • I agree the prices are tough for locals. You can see if Porto timetable is the type that works for you and it's a terrific city. Also cheaper. https://www.primaverasound.com/es/porto/lineup-porto
    • thanks XXialac! i guess for us the most important aspect will be a festival that starts very late in the day, specially in these southern countries were it can be really hot! The combination of visiting a new city, having good lunches and enjoying a festival is a absolute must for us. Also, we like headliners but the undercard is just as important; truly enjoyed Men I trust, NewDad, Big Thief this year so from that angle it is not really a big thing if a festival is somewhat smaller.    Apparently my bad, i had 5 in my system but 0.5 (10%) increase is still huge. I am not sure how teenagers can afford these prices............
    • That second part was how I felt about Rock IM Park this year trying first. I found that when it gets to like the 3rd act on the main stage down, you've gotta make a choice to miss anything leading up might not enjoy and it's sometimes while closer for not a great view as everyone in turn has to make the call too. Being short doesn't help as I'd just be able be further bacm but still see.
    • I wasn’t slagging Scooter off, they are undeniably silly. As I said, they are the definition of a meme booking for Download. People requested them for years because it was silly.
