Was the Pumpkins one 'The End Is the Beginning Is The End'? I actually liked that.

I would probably like the Nick Cave one too. I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to test myself. The fact it didn't make it on to the rarities album but that awful Scream 3 version of Red Right Hand did does not bode well.

Yeah it was, from the Batman and Robin soundtrack. Probably says something that the song that played over the end credits was better than the rest of the film.

I just gave it a listen - it's not as bad as the Scream 3 version of Red Right Hand. Batman Forever of course had Seal's Kiss From A Rose on it as well.

I'm still keen one watching the first few Cave songs, it'd be rude not to!

In regards to the Pumpkins, apparently they've changed their set up a bit for the Euro tour but no one's uploaded a setlist for last night yet...might have to wait till tomorrow to see what's in store.

Just noticed there's only 5 mins between the end of Public Service Brodacasting and Cave, will have to sacrifice the last 10 mins of them to leg it and get a decent spot in the pyramid field I reckon!

Agree with the post on previous page I hope he mixes the setlist up a bit, so many decent songs to play and most of the 'older' ones on this tour are very similar. New album ones should sound class though, choir backing as well??

Well I don't think there's any doubt who won this one.

Nick cave put on one of the most sensational gigs of all time that will be talked about for years

I really really want that girl in the white dress to have been Rebecca!

That girl in the white dress looked like she either descended from above or ascended from below. She didn't quite look human. There was something of the ethereal about her.

Cave undoubtedly won, but in sprinting across the site to catch Steve Mason's Crows Nest set, I caught Tonight Tonight and Bullet With Butterfly Wings!

I now know it's possible to have your cake and eat it.

But on the subject of bad Batman soundtracks, is there no love for U2's Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me? One of their finest songs right there.

But then, I also quite like Batman Forever. It's garish, ridiculous but loads of fun.

The girl in white was great to watch. I just thought it didn't seem right. She was stunning, in a stunning white dress. She seemed almost hypnotised and overwhelemed by what was happening. She seemed entranced, as did Nick cave. Just didn't seem natural to me

If it wasn't staged then it must be one of the most intensely emotional songs of the festival

.. Until Nick sings about putting bullets in someone's head of course!

I thought the girl with Nick Cave written on her forehead was the true hero. I so much wanted her to grab his balls, or undo his flies when he had his legs between her face, and I think she wanted to as we'll. pure comedy genius. Bless her. It must have been the highlight of her life!

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole set by the way, brilliant stuff
